Rob grew up in Essex and studied acting at the University of Hull.

Rob also appears regularly in commercials, including Car Guru, Currys PC World, Captain Morgan, Gala Bingo, Burger King, Heinz, Hertz and Portsmouth Tourism, as well as voiceover work for Sony Movie News and Transport for London amongst others.
