As the son of a magician and jazz singer, David realised young that a proper job was out of the question. David studied Drama, Film and Television at Roehampton Institute London and at the Academy of Creative Training. Theatre credits include ‘Dying For It’, ‘The Cherry Orchard’, ‘The Homecoming’, and the title role in Patrick Marber’s ‘Don Juan in Soho’. He became a cast member of the long-running satirical sketch show ‘The Treason Show’, and returned to his love of classic British comedy in the Tony Hancock play ‘The Lad Himself’. He featured in a sold-out run of ‘The Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show’ at Edinburgh Fringe, then collaborated with ITI in 2014 on an Australian tour of ‘Bite-Size Comedies’. David plays Basil Faulty and co-devised ITI’s ‘The Wedding Reception’ (now ‘Confetti & Chaos’).
