Nicholas Foustellis is a Sydney-based actor, singer and live performer of Greek heritage whose work spans television, film, theatre, commercials and immersive performance.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Performance from the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art (AADA) in 2012 and was later selected for Bell Shakespeare’s graduate actor training program. His ongoing professional training has included work with Les Chantery, the late Kevin Jackson, Dave Newman and Lyn Pierse.
Nicholas’s screen credits include a speaking role as a Silvan Elf in the first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The role took him to New Zealand for three months of preparation, fittings, elf training and filming. His other screen credits include Here Come the Habibs! and Deadly Women.
At 21, he began his professional career as “Nick the Barista” on Seven’s Sunrise as part of a year-long sponsorship with Michel’s Patisserie. Appearing live on air each morning, he performed in sketches alongside the Cash Cow and shared the screen with guests including Katy Perry, Guy Pearce, the Wayans brothers and then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
In 2026, Nicholas played the lead role of Theo in Unforgettable, an immersive Greek wedding comedy. His other theatre credits include Romeo in an Arts North West-supported tour of Romeo & Juliet to schools throughout the New England North West region, Haemon in Antigone, Ferdinand and Sebastian in The Tempest, and Osric in Hamlet. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Play at the 2019 BroadwayWorld Sydney Awards for Once in Royal David’s City.
Drawing on his love of comedy, improvisation, singing and audience interaction, Nicholas is delighted to make his debut with Interactive Theatre International as Will and Marvin in Confetti & Chaos.
Offstage, Nicholas enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, strength training, anime, and the ongoing pursuit of excellent coffee, ramen, dumplings and the perfect pain au chocolat.
