Interactive Theatre Australia in General: |

"What an incredible evening we all had! Everyone who attended had a fantastic time, and they have been talking about nothing else for days! The evening was everything that we had hoped for, and more.
Thank you so much for the cheerful assistance that you have provided ... trying to organise a staff function can be a monumental task. To my delight the staff at interactive organised and coordinated the entire event. I dealt with one person who was friendly, professional, easy to contact, and completely flexible with the number of unique demands associated with our event, including the dietary needs of some of our staff members. The peace of mind this afforded was priceless!
The flexibility offered by Interactive Theatre in regards to brief, budget, theme, meals, in short, everything was fantastic."

"From the minute they entered our pre dinner drinks area the performers had litterally won over the crowd. The naturalness with which they took on their characters was so amazing. Most people looked gobsmacked. I really felt I was one of those unfortunate patrons of Fawlty Tower. Honestly, can't rave enough. Everyone was in stitches especially me as I ended up being one of the props! It was as life like and so professional. My husband loved it and he sure is a bit of a hard egg."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the performance! There was not a moment during the entire show that we didn't think we were literally eating inside the hotel of Faulty Towers. The likeness of Basil to John Cleese is uncanny and we completely lost ourselves in the fantasy. We thought all three performers were incredible and we'll definitely be going to the show when it comes back for the Fringe Festival.
My wife and I haven't laughed so hard in a longtime. Between finding a surprise in our soup, to admiring Manuel's ass! The entire show was hilarious! We have no trouble (and will definitely be!) recommending the Dining Experience to everyone that we talk to about it.
From both my wife and I we'd love to thank Interactive Theatre Australia but especially the three Faulty Towers performers for a brilliant night out! We were extremely impressed!"

"Booking the Faulty Towers as the first part of entertainment for our 4 day convention was a great idea. They kicked off the evening just the way we needed - helped relax everyone and get them into a great mood. It set the tone for our event - everyone was laughing all night and was great to catch a few people by surprise with some of the antics.
Manuel was amazing - the similarities to the real character were incredible."

"Yep we had a good time, we were kinda nervous the whole way through wondering what would be done to us, haha. We were the youngest couple there (19 and 20) so the next up from us, I say would of been around 40. So we did stand out in the crowd. It was very funny.
I got out the Fawlty Towers DVD's and have started watching them, I must say the dinner was much funnier than the show itself."

"It was great to have the characters meet'n'greet the guests as they arrived. It set the scene for the rest of the night. Having the characters up there on the dance floor with the other dancers also gave an extra visual bonus for the spectators. "Just wanted to let you know that after all the time we spent trying to arrange the booking for our group, it was well worth the effort. We all had a great time last night at St Pauls, even the more recalcitrant members of our party. The Faulty Towers group were superb, it was hard to keep telling ourselves that they were not the real characters. The food was plain, but very enjoyable, and certainly recommending the evening to my friends."

"Very Good! I throughly enjoyed the performance. Great value for food and entertainment in one setting! (I tried to catch the cast before leaving, but was in a sense dragged away).

"I just wanted to say how much our family enjoyed our dinner and theatre experience on Saturday night at Alexander's Bar and Restaurant.
We had a wonderful time from 6 year old Courtney-Rad (Manuel and Basil will remember her) to my parents and Dad's brother (in their 80's). In our party were visitors from Victoria, New South Wales and ACT.
Thanks to all the actors. The meal and service were excellent as well. It was a great choice to celebrate Mum and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and thought that the person doing Basil was as close a look-a-like as one could get. Mannerisms, stance, tonality of voice etc spot on.... In all a great night's entertainment."

"Could not have asked for better. Very professional and extremely entertaining.
Absolutely brilliant. I have worked with Andrew Nason before and his professional attitude is still up there with the best. I can now add Andrew Foreman to the list of professional entertainers that I wouldn't hesitate to either recommend or hire again.
Both guys did everything asked of them and more, their performances (as Basil and Manuel) had a tough crowd of 200 plus inebriated golfers rolling on the greens and they were both very easy to work with."

"I
do not know where to begin. I was worried to
begin with never having used this type of entertainment
before but that was very soon forgotten. Excellent,
total professionalism, adapted to any situation that
arose during the night, a few people wanted to take
Manuel home. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment (the actors) were so good that I
actually relaxed and enjoyed our Christmas Party,
as I could see all our staff and guests enjoying themselves. If you closed your eyes and just listened you would
swear you had the 'originals'. It is always
hard to find entertainment to suit everyone's taste
and age but I think we hit the jackpot with this.
I could go on and on but that would start sounding
like a crazed fan. Thank you, thank you so much
for an excellent show and if I need this type of entertainment
again you will be the only one I will be ringing."

"Just thought I'd drop you guys
a line about your performance at the Texas Motel, 16
February, 2002. I must say that I was spellbound by...
oh, no. I must not say I was spellbound. That implies
something far more static than the fat-wobbling, gut-busting,
face-aching laughter that was Faulty Towers - The Dining
Experience. (Though I must admit that an empty soup
bowl, an exotic array of cutlery and pre-emptive garnish
make for a thoroughly confusing dining experience!)
I was thankful for my overwhelming nicotine addiction
when Manuel climbed under the table to recover my sister's
knickers while I was trying to sneak back to my seat.
I knew she'd do that. You just can't take her anywhere
where a waiter might inadvertently pour someone else's
wine into her glass! Off with the undies! And I must
congratulate Manuel on his chivalry in trying to replace
them, just at the moment the rat might have crawled
up her leg! Bravo!
Thank you one and all for a delightful performance of
one of my favourites. I can't wait to see other shows,
though I may have to agitate in Toowoomba, closer to
home, for more opportunities.
Break a leg!" Toni |

| "'Faulty
Towers a hoot'
For those of you who didn't
make it to Settlers Motor Inn on Wednesday night for
the Faulty Towers dinner - it must be said that you
certainly missed one of the best dinner shows in Biloela.
Basil, Sybil and Manuel wowed the diners with their
crazy antics and superb sense of humour.
The show began with Basil and Sybil taking everyone's
order, and then proceeding to remember which table
and to whom the order belonged to.
Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the show
was when the chef misplaced his false teeth - they
were later recovered, floating in somebody's soup
dish.
Needless to say it was a great evening had by all.
Settlers menu was second to none and the staff are
to be commended.
I know that the Central Telegraph staff, who attended
the dinner, had a memorable night ... and are still
laughing."

"Well, we both enjoyed the performance. We thought the performers were very good and so true to type. If you saw them walking down the street, you would think they really were, Sybil and Manuel. We had a good old laugh, but then I am a true fan."
Bill Fone
"Show was fantastic (felt like we were in an episode). My friend who is a HUGE Faulty Tower fan & Producer/Director couldn't believe how authentic the cast was! Well done!"

"I will admit that when I initially booked a table at the Faulty Towers Dining Experience I was expecting some two dollar worn out unemployed actors. Upon arriving I was immediatly impressed by the high quality of the acting, the facilities and the characterisation. What could well have been a really painfully bad show was pulled off with consumate skill. I would recommend the Faulty Tower Dining Experience to all my friends."
Nikolous Armstrong
"I consider myself as a Fawlty Tower expert, and the performance that I witnessed last night blew me away. The characters costumes, accent, mannerism and even walking styles were uncanny. It was a great experience and I have recommended it to all my family and friends."

"John and myself had a wonderful night. The food was fabulous as well as the service. The venue was fantastic and the characters, what could you say, it was as if you were in the original Faulty Towers Hotel. We would both love to see the cast again and look forward to once again experiencing the Faulty Towers Dining Experience in Melbourne next year. Top Line Act; 10 out of 10."

"We have already recommended the show to everyone we know, including interstate friends. We had a ball, it really felt like we were part of an episode of Faulty Towers...and we were! The actors were fabulous, it must have been exhausting but they made it look effortless - Thanks for a great night."

"Very enjoyable night, both entertainment and food was excellent. (Always great food at this venue). After the show the actors mingled which was wonderful and generous on their part. Service staff were involved also and made to feel part of the show; would go again."

"The entertainers were excellent. It was our second time to see the show and we enjoyed it just as much the second time. We will certainly recommend your shows to others. We took 10 friends to this particular show."

"Enjoyed it so much, wish there were more interactive performances like Faulty Towers!! Performers stayed in character at all times, as I found out, when I asked Manuel a question about the meal and he got me so flustered with his accent and not being able to understand what I was asking, I told him to "Nick off then!!" and he responded with a remark about the Russian chef!! All cast members were excellent in their performance. Basil, Sybil and Manuel, something we will remember for a long time as a great night out!"

"This was one of the best shows myself and my party of 10 have experienced and we have been to lots of Fringe shows over the years. The performers were absolutely brilliant and worked the audience brilliantly, you simply could not take your eyes off them as you would miss another brilliant performance. The venue was superb. Right number of crowd in the audience so that you felt part of the show and not part of the show. To top it off the food and service was brilliant. A most enjoyable night and one we will be looking for in future Fringe Festivals.
Paul Henschke
"We were amazed at how the characters were so like the originals. They were hilarious and very professional taking on their roles throughout the entire evening from our welcome by Basil to Manuel showing photos of his ass and his sister's ass, to Sybil constantly on Basil's back. Each character played their part beautifully. We were sorry when the evening ended. We have highly recomeended this show to our friends and family and would certainly recommend it to anyone."

"This is my second Faulty Towers dining experience. It is so worth seeing again as the details could really be enjoyed straight away and were not delayed while the punter is recovering from the shock! It was great ... funny, fun and incredibly authentic. For a Fawlty Towers fan, actually being a part of the event is a great experience. A fantastic performance from the cast, who are remarkably like the originals!"

"We
have nothing but praise and gratitude for Tony's performance.
He was so well organised, arrived promptly, was very
cooperative, and very supportive to us in all ways.
His sense of humor and his ability to ad-lib were
outstanding, and his songs were very professionally
deilvered (and funny!)."
"Our
friends commented that he mingled so well that they
thought he was one of our "outrageous" friends
that they hadn't met! His performance is still
being talked about among our friends as if it was
just yesterday, they were so thrilled and enjoyed
it so much. It was the most memorable birthday
I've had, and Tony added tremendously to the experience.
We highly recommend him to others."

just had to say how thrilled I was with the performance
last Saturday night with our Austin Powers show for

Some

"The Powerlink group thought it was a fantastic night. They all enjoyed themselves immensely ... in fact they were still discussing theories at midnight. It was very professional and the way the night was tailored to our theme was terrific. Everyone took their envelopes of clues with them after it finished. A terrific night enjoyed by all. A great team building exercise. Thank you for making a great night."

"What an incredible evening we all had! Everyone who attended had a fantastic time, and they have talked about nothing else for days!
It took a little while for everyone to get their bearings, but once our nametags were on and we had digested our briefs, mingling with each other and the interactive characters were exciting and energising. I am amazed at how much I enjoyed being completely out of my depth, and how quickly, with the aid of your skilled acting team, that we all caught the spirit of the evening and became engrossed in the intrigue!
Ricky Presco and Mama Rae were incredible. They were larger than life, very entertaining; they set the tone for the evening, and guided our enquiries into fruitful and not so fruitful areas. The actors worked well with the dynamics of the group, exchanging fire with the more spirited members, teasing facts out of the shyer members, and respecting the PG rating that we wanted for the evening.
The story and character handouts were excellent. The story was coherent and comprehensive; every detail was covered and complimented the rest of the story. Characters were rich and deep, offering lots of teasing hints, red herrings, and scope for imagination. As a group we achieved a shared state of suspended reality.
The event was truly enjoyable and memorable. Thank you for a job very, very well done."

"The
day was a complete success.... we were certainly entertained
by the 'murder' over lunch with the performers doing
a great job to get everyone into the spirit of the
game.
This
concept was totally new to us as previously these
staff away days have been based around physical activities
eg climbing ropes, building rafts etc. so a more relaxed
day like Murder on the Menu and at a great location
like Glengarrif Estate was certainly what the staff
needed."

"Due
to the nature of our company set-up, some staff work
outside our office. Our Christmas party was
a great success due to the 'glue' provided by the
performers bringing everyone together and encouraging
people to get up and mingle in order to work out who
the Murderer was. Many thanks for a very enjoyable
evening."
